What is the Dress Code?

As our ceremony is at the Kingdom Hall please wear suitable attire.

Do I need to bring a gift?

Accepted Answer

Not at all!

We don't expect anything. We'd just be glad to have you with us to enjoy our day.

If you would really like to bring something there will be a gift table, but please, we are looking forward to your presence, not your presents

Am I required to contribute to the meal and drinks?

Accepted Answer

Not at all.

A bubbles will be provided upon arrival and a wine with the buffet meal.  Additional drinks can be purchased from the venue bar.

If you would like to contribute towards meal costs, a donation can be made to the below bank account.  But please feel no obligation.

What time does the ceremony start?

The ceremony starts at 1:30, so please aim to arrive and be seated by 1:20pm.

What time does the Reception start and end?

Accepted Answer

The Riverhead Tavern beside the venue will be open all afternoon and you are welcome to meet there with friends anytime.

The reception venue will be open from 4pm.

The reception starting time will be 5:30pm, and we have the venue till midnight. So we welcome you to stay as long as you can and celebrate with us!

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Yes, but please see comments in FAQ's about posting and sharing photos and videos.

Please be respectful of the ceremony.

Please be considerate of others when taking photos or videos.

No flash photography please.

Can I post photos/videos I've taken from the wedding?

Please do not post photo's or video's on platforms such as Instagram or Facebook where they can be viewed by the general public.  We are happy for you to share privately with others such as those that could not attend via WhatsApp or similar.

And please share with us!

Please be considerate of others while taking photos, and respectful in what you choose to share.

We are happy to make the professional photos available for you to view when they are available.
